Do you believe in Magic?

A painting inspired by a myriad of magical meanders! These discoveries were made either in the quiet of the early morning or at dusk and are an interpretation of my encounters with these elusive nature spirits.  

In this particular painting I have focussed on the lighting that prevails as dusk approaches - the deep mix of indigo and greys which contrast with the white seeded heads of the dandelions. One fairy dances delicately like a ballerina along a stem, whilst another has been lifted into the air, carried aloft by a singular seed.

A painting in which we might believe that all things are possible!
